September Campout Weekend 2025 Friday,Sept. 5th - Sunday, Sept. 7th, from 5pm (Fri.) - 3pm (Sun.)
*SEPT’S WEEKEND CAMP REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5PM ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 29th 2025 BUT DON’T WAIT TO REGISTER - SPOTS ARE LIMITED.
Details: A total of 2 camp days and 2 camp nights are included. Open to all Lane County youth ages 11-18. We will be camping at Sutton Lake Campground on the Central Oregon Coast just North of Florence.
Cost? The cost of this year’s September weekend camp is $0/per child enrolled. This year’s September Campout costs have been covered thanks to a generous donation from Kendall Subaru of Eugene! Back2Youth was selected as one of the grateful non-profit recipients for this year’s local Share the Love Subaru Event. Please join us in saying THANK YOU to Kendall Subaru and their dedicated community - for seeing the value of our outdoor youth camps, and for helping us to fulfill our mission for local youth this Fall.
What to expect? An overall boost in well being, leading to increased resilience, empowerment, self confidence and mindfulness, a decrease in anxiety, stress and depression symptoms, + new friendships, smiles, laughter, play and adventures of all kinds with Mother Nature.
What to bring? An open mind, your curiosity and layered clothing appropriate for that weekend’s scheduled activities and weather conditions. Campers are highly encouraged to bring closed toes shoes and athletic style clothing for comfort and safety. *A Weekend Prep Checklist and further participation details will be provided closer to the date of the event for all registered youth.
Schedule: Please arrive 15 minutes early for preparation before departure.
DEPARTURE/DROP OFF Fri. September 5th at 5pm: We’ll gather at base camp for a meet & greet, camp introduction and orientation. Then we’re off to Florence to camp, explore, learn and connect for the entire weekend. 🏕️ We’ll be building basic camp skills, introducing mindfulness practices and exploring nearby trails, beaches and ecology. 🌊
