Please read this policy carefully before registering your child for any Back2Youth camp or program. By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to the terms outlined below.

Registration Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to reserve your child’s space in camp.
For most camps, this deposit is $50. Certain longer camp sessions may require a higher non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation + Refund Policy

Back2Youth understands that schedules can change and unexpected events happen. Because significant camp expenses are committed well before the program begins, refunds are based on how much notice is provided.

Refunds are issued as follows:

  • More than 28 days before camp begins: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit

  • 28–21 days before camp begins: 75% refund of total fees paid, minus the non-refundable deposit

  • 21–14 days before camp begins: 50% refund of total fees paid, minus the non-refundable deposit

  • Within 14 days of camp start: No refund will be issued

All withdrawal and refund requests must be made directly to Back2Youth by phone or email.

Medical Cancellations

If your child must cancel due to a medical condition, a full refund may be issued when written documentation from a licensed medical professional is provided. This policy also applies if your child tests positive for COVID-19 or is unable to attend due to related symptoms.

For medical or family emergencies, please contact our team directly so we can review your situation.

COVID-19 Policy

If your child tests positive for COVID-19 before camp begins, you may choose one of the following:

  • A full refund minus the non-refundable deposit, or

  • A tuition credit toward a future Back2Youth camp or program

Attendance, Absences + No-Shows

Back2Youth camps and programs have limited space in order to provide a safe and high quality experience. Because of this, we do not issue refunds, credits, or prorated tuition for:

  • Scheduled absences

  • No-shows

  • Missed camp days due to illness or injury

  • Early departures

  • Late arrivals

  • Missed days related to behavioral dismissal or parent/camper choice

If your child leaves camp early or arrives late for any reason, including homesickness, personal scheduling conflicts, or behavioral issues, no refund or prorated fee will be provided.

Weather + Camp Cancellations by Back2Youth

Back2Youth rarely cancels camp, but we reserve the right to do so when necessary for health and safety. This may include extreme heat, poor air quality, emergencies, or other unsafe conditions. If Back2Youth cancels a full camp day, families may receive a prorated credit toward a future program.

If Back2Youth cancels a session after camp has already started, refunds cannot be guaranteed because program expenses have already been incurred. However, we will do our best to offer partial refunds or credits when possible, especially for families experiencing financial hardship.

Participant Behavior Policy

At Back2Youth, the safety and well-being of all campers and staff is our top priority. Campers are expected to participate in a manner that is safe, respectful, and appropriate for the group setting.

If a camper’s behavior creates a safety concern for themselves, other participants, staff, or property, Back2Youth may take the following steps:

  1. Staff will first attempt redirection and support.

  2. If the behavior continues, the camper may be redirected from the activity and parents/guardians will be contacted.

  3. Staff, parents/guardians, and the camper may work together to develop a behavior plan for return.

  4. Continued behavior concerns may result in the camper being sent home for the day.

  5. If a safe resolution cannot be reached, Back2Youth reserves the right to dismiss the camper from the program.

Acknowledgment

By registering a child for a Back2Youth camp or activity, the parent or guardian acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to the policies, including all terms related to deposits, cancellations, refunds, attendance, illness, safety, and participant behavior. This acknowledgment is a condition of participation in Back2Youth programming.
